2019 Speaker Cecile van Berkum

Cecile van Berkum has a master in Organisational Psychology and loves pure and wholesome food. In 2008 she started to explore the intricate world of the Mediterranean and its delicious and healthy cuisine. A crucial ingredient in the Mediterranean is extra virgin olive oil. Ever since Cecile has been sharing her passion for this fruit juice and its beneficial properties. In 2018 she launched her book “Advantages of extra virgin olive oil in health care and sport”, published in both English and Dutch. Cecile lives in a remote homestead in the mountains in the south of Spain with her husband and dogs. She is the proud founder and owner of Saborpuro, which ships her favourite foods from Andalusia to The Low Countries.
